COMEDY WRITERS/SKETCHES!
SKETCH COMEDY MASH-UP
Submissions now being
accepted for original Sketch Comedy. Selections will be presented
as part of the famed OUTLAUGH COMEDY FESTIVAL Friday night,
June 3, 2011 in the Main Room of The Comedy Store on Sunset
Strip.
Guidelines:
-
Content-must have LGBT themes and/or characters
- Content-may have been performed elsewhere,
or may be first time performance.
- Set - just a chair or two.
- Props - only simple ie. a glass or a book;
anything unusual, you must supply.
- Sound - minimal sound cues.
- Costumes - other than street clothes; anything unusual, you must
supply.
- Cast limited to 2 or 3 people. You can supply your own cast or we
can help.
- Length - no longer than four minutes.

preferred (Word docs/and Video links also accepted)
- to submissions2011@outlaughfestival.com no later than
midnight on Saturday, May 7. Sketches will be chosen and writers
notified by May 22. Rehearsal time in the space will be
provided.
FILM MAKERS!
WE WANT YOUR SHORT QUEER COMEDY FILMS!
Submissions
now being accepted for original comedy film shorts. Selections will
be screened as part of the famed OUTLAUGH COMEDY FESTIVAL Friday
night,
June 3, 2011 in the Main Room of The Comedy Store on Sunset
Strip.
Guidelines:
- Content-must have LGBT themes and/or characters
- Content - comedy only / Pls. no standup
- Content - original material only
- Length - no longer than four minutes.

May 7. Films will be chosen and entrants notified by May
22.
